A mature age ruckman who's travelled the minor leagues to get an AFL guernsey, Sinclair would appear to have been drafted as potential ready-made backup for the Eagles ruck duo of Cox and Naitanui.
With Naitanui out early in the 2013 season, Sinclair was given a chance, and certainly didn't look out of place at AFL level. Forced back to the rookie list mid season, he then missed the rest of the year through injury, but certainly performed well in a first AFL season.
After a breakout season in 2015 where Sinclair became a key backup to Nic Naitanui and was part of the Eagles unsuccessful Grand Final team, he was traded to Sydney for Lewis Jetta. Shame 'bout that. |
