Player Information |
|
The son of former Eagle premiership vice captain Michael Brennan, Jacob was taken as a more mature age pickup as a defender in the WAFL in 2010. Making his debut early in the 2012 season, Brennan appeared to be worthy of his pedigree, looking assured and ready as an AFL footballer, though his enthusiasm at times did result in mistakes. Was rewarded for his efforts with a spot in the team in the finals, and the club's Rookie of the Year award.
Unfortunately while effort is usually rewarded, eventually ability comes into play as well. Brennan always put in the maximum effort, but didn't quite have the skills required to make the grade at AFL level, being delisted at the end of the 2014 season. |
