An Eagles favourite, a half back flanker, Strijk is a more mature aged recruit at 22 years of age, was given a chance on an AFL list after a few impressive years at West Perth in the WAFL. Elevated during the season to fill long term injury spots, Strijk was one of the few highlights of 2010 as he proved more than capable of AFL football, a capability recognised when he was elevated to the main list for the 2011 season. Unfortunately a lack of opportunities - and perhaps fitness eventually told, and Strijk was delisted at the end of the 2012 season. |
