Player Information |
|
Since being drafted to the Eagles in 2004, Matt Rosa has progressed well to become a reliable second string midfielder/wing. One of the unlucky players to play most of the 2006 season only to sit out the Grand Final, Rosa was again a key part of the 2006 season, only missing two games all year and at that he was probably somewhat unlucky.
Rosa fought injury problems over the earlier part of his career before becoming a key part of the West Coast team through the finals series in 2011/2012. By 2015, he was on the edge of the main 22, being the sub for the Grand Final. With the Eagles bringing in a few more runners from other clubs, a 29 year old Rosa determined that he was likely to be pushed out of the side and requested a trade, which was facilitated to the Gold Coast. |
