Player Information |
|
Tyson Stenglein originally made a name for himself as a tight checking defensive midfielder at the Crows before a desire to move back to Perth resulted in a trade to the Eagles where he quickly fit in as the defensive midfielder missing in an otherwise star studded running brigade.
This fit gained Stenglein a place in the Eagles' 2006 premiership team, and his value over that time was undoubted, and he was a very useful part of the tough 2007 campaign, but there have been signs that he's struggled with the burden of being part of a weakend midfield in 2008. At this stage it's too early to call, but Stenglein would be hoping that he can return to the heights of his early seasons at the Eagles in 2009. |
