Widely rated as a highly skilled midfielder when taken as a father-son selection in the 2004 draft, Morton never quite managed to play to that expectation, only garnering 12 games, and being passed over by a number of other young Eagles. Ultimately it appeared he didn't see a future at West Coast and asked to be traded to Richmond at the end of 2007 for more opportunities. |
