Player Information |

A medium height defender, Brett Jones performed admirably after his elevation from the rookie list. In fact his debut game was more than impressive, and while he struggled to continue that form, was rewarded for a more than satisfactory season by being promoted to the main list for the 2005 season.
Since then, Jones has developed into an integral part of the West Coast defence; the reliable half back flanker/third tall defender who gets the job done. By the end of 2006 he was a set part of the club's best 22, playing in the winning Grand Final team.
After a good 2007 season, Jones slipped from the side with a combination of lesser form and injury. After playing his 100th AFL game in 2010, he was unable to retain his spot in the side, eventually retiring after being unable to break into the team in 2011. |
