Player Information |

Adam Selwood has come a long way from his unexpected debut back in the 2003 season, though it wasn't until 2005 that he secured a regular berth in the team. A niggly stopper, Selwood is likely to be a very unpopular player with other club's supporters (as shown by the infamous Des Headland incident in 2007), but his role within the team is crucial, and he does it as well as anyone would expect.
Selwood was part of the 2006 premiership team, but in the years following that, his form slowly tapered off. He still played a valuable role until the end of the 2011 season, but after that injuries and a lack of remaining leg speed saw his appearances become fewer and his effectiveness reduce. After only managing nine games in the 2013 season, with time in the WAFL and off injured, Selwood gave the game away after an impressive 187 games from a late round recruit. |
