Player Information |

Michael Braun is a skinny midfielder who has been at the club for a number of years after being picked up late in the 1997 draft. A favourite of the Eagles faithful, as he has shown time and time again that a little man with a big heart can play a valuable role at the Eagles.
Braun again stood up in 2005, while not the most talented of the Eagles running brigade, he put in regularly, was at times inspirational, and at other times just the hard working player that every team needs a few of. His form since then hasn't been perhaps quite as great, but he has managed to retain his spot in the team, becoming a premiership player in 2006 and playing his 200th game in 2007; like his life membership he is the first non-West Australian player to make it to 200 games for the West Coast Eagles.
In 2008 Braun played out the latter part of the season after deciding mid-season that it would be his last season; a decision that seemed to make sense as he struggled to play on with injury at times. |
