Darren Bennett was a promising forward when chosen to be a part of West Coast's inaugural squad but he suffered a serious knee injury and was delisted. Melbourne took a chance on him and he rewarded their faith with a few good seasons including two where he lead their goal-kicking.
After his AFL career Bennett travelled to the USA where he played in the NFL for San Diego. |
