Player Information |

Adrian Barich was a late convert to AFL football. He played rugby league in the ACT till he was 16 and decided to have a shot at AFL. After a successful career at Ainslie in NSW and at Perth Football Club Barich was selected as part of the original West Coast squad for the 1987 season.
A speedy wingman Barich played in West Coast's first game against Richmond but played only a few games over his career. Barich and Phil Scott sent an emotional letter to the team on the eve of the 1992 Grand Final which has reportedly lifted the spirits of the team.
After football Barich continued at WAFL level for a few years and even joined the Western Reds, the short lived Perth based NRL team. He now enjoys a successful career in the media, with channel 9 at first but more successfully with channel 7 and radio 6PR. |
