Round 11

Apparently the crows are flag favourites? Dont know how, they get most of their goals out the back and their only really good win was against GWS in round 1 because GWS believed their own hype.

Because when it's time to make it up with away games, they're mostly an hour up the road, which is no big deal at all.
3 away games in a row for us is quite a different story.
We've had 3 in a row at Subi in the past when the middle one has been an away derby. That's the only realistic way to make it happen for us.

Round 9 was Gelongs first home game I think. So the draw may have not been so good for them.

It's due to the stadium redevelopment. Fair enough in my opinion.

Except that to date, they've only been out of Victoria twice, including one trip to Perth.

...and? They have a great home field advantage playing at Simmonds Stadium, similar to most interstate clubs, yet they have lost 3 of those home ground advantages because they have played home games at the MCG and Etihad (the MCG one was against Collingwood, so an even bigger difference due to the huge number of Pies fans who would have flocked in to the MCG as compared to Simmonds.)

Plus they have another 4 interstate trips for the remainder of the year. When you take into consideration that there are only 8 interstate teams, that means they play all but 2 of the interstate teams at an interstate venue. That is about as bad as a travelling schedule will get for a Victorian based team.
