We are in for a grind...

This team just thought this was 4pts in the bank. Im sure we will break away though.

We always seem to get teams that have copped shit all weak and come out firing.

I think my TV is stuck on the Carlton commentary track, does anyone know how I switch to the West Coast one?

Credit where credit is due, they did bring up the free kick count, then actually defended why the Eagles had so many/Carlton gave away so many.

As for the game, Naitanui is getting killed in the ruck today. Might need to rest him forward for a bit and let Lycett take the wind out of Phillips sail.

We just need to weather this early storm and look to work through things. Bring the game back down to a slower pace and play it on our terms until their little motivation they had at the start of the game is gone.

I don't feel like we're especially "off" so far. Blues playing pretty well.

Carlton are playing well - but our mids look sore already, a contested grind isn't what they wanted

Carlton following the hawthorn playbook with keepies off football - our escape from the contest is all under pressure and they just intercept and keep it off us

Without rioli, ryan and venebles...a fwd line of kennedy, darling, warerman and a resting ruck is too tall.
