Holy crap that aircraft looks really... bad. But shit if it gets you there it's probably worth the terror hey!

Luckily my Docker supporter mate now has 2 useless JetStar flights the the GF and back just waiting for me when the Eagles to bury the Crows. You know Dazz - the JetStar flights that didn't exist?

And the Eagles website says that on Sunday morning if the Eagles win Qantas will be announcing more flights and they say there will be some cheap fares available - how cheap remains to be seen

Obviously you guys don't fly much! What a bunch of pussies, you wouldn't last long in the mining game! Fokker, Dash 8, Brasillia, Metro, conquest, I've flown on em all. The worst was this thing called a "Twin Otter" in Indonesia. Now THAT was SCARY!
The F50 is the Rolls Royce of turboprops, and far better than what I fly on every week to work!

BTW: I figured after Freo lost, there'd be a flood of cancellations open up.
Doesn't seem to have effected Qantas, BUT JETSTAR has opened up!
Flying out Thursday, back on Monday, if that suits anyone.
(and NO they were NOT availabl earlier in the week.)

Due to a further drop in numbers,
we have gone from a Fokker 50 to a De Havilland DH82
(from the same company that makes the Dash 8.)

See picture here:

You certainly live up to your name
How many stops for fuel and oxygen would be needed for the Perth - Melbourne trip in that???

To anyone looking for a flight to and from Melbourne...
There is a seat available on QF590, leaving Perth 06.20 Sep 29 via Adelaide (with business class component from Adelaide to Melb), and QF 1247 leaves Melb 23.00 on Oct 1. How do I know? I just cancelled it about two minutes ago (thanks to Freo's fall).

Cost me $2158 return, not sure how it works for the seat second time around, whether it will be offered at the same price. Anyone still stuck and wants return air travel for one try getting online and see if it has come up yet
