Adelaide, South Australia

Games played here in 2008
AAMI Stadium
Round 2 vs Adelaide - Saturday, March 29 2:40 pm
BASS Tickets
AAMI Stadium Seating Plan: Tickets usually on sale the Wednesday two weeks before the game.
Getting to the ground
AAMI Stadium is a fair distance from the city centre. There is no rail station close to the ground. Bus would be the best option to get to the ground.

Accommodation
Mecure Hotel Grosvenor
OK hotel but the room are a bit old. Bar is great and the restaurant has great food. Located right across the road from the casino.

Packages
Travel & Sport Australia
Travel and Sports Australia is West Coast Eagles official travel agency. Doesn’t look like they have a set package but if you are lazy like me, they will take care of everything.

Barossa Valley Tours
Something you can do while in Adelaide is take a Barossa Valley tour. There are two ways to do it. You can take an organised tour from one of the many companies that offer them. The organised tours will go to the wineries they get kickbacks from, so you will not be going to the leading wineries (ie Penfolds & Jacobs Creek) but you will go to the lesser known wineries. These tours cost from $50 to $100 if they include lunch.
The other way is to hire a car and do it yourself. One person will have to miss out on the tastings but you will get to go to the wineries you want to.
