RANT: one thing i hate.................

Postby cammania on Wed Apr 04, 2007 5:35 pm

one thing i hate right now at the moment is the caltex service staion up at the local safeway. man, its only a tinyer carpark and a bit cramped, but when petrol prices are going to go up, the line out the front and through all the carpark, and blocking the way, all to save $4.22. ok, its a saving and any saving is good, but sitting there in line for ten mins to get a bowser is a joke, but blocking my carparking area and driving area to line up is not on.

so there is my rant and i ask this:
whats one thing you hate right now?

hope you can all rant and enjoy

What I hate right now is the commercialism of the world and the constant need of money to do anything interesting and the fact I need a job in order to get money to have a social life but in order to get a job I have to give up my social life.

just one thing?!

i'll say drink drivers then. the other day, i went past a motorcyclist who'd been knocked off his bike and into some bushes, head hanging off onto the road all covered in blood.

couple of days later i read in the papers it was due to a drunk 21-yr-old in some suped-up car.

drink drivers should have their licenses taken away PERMENANTLY!

The guy who works on NOVA in the afternoons (3-6 I think). Just shut up and play music, your not funny, I don't care who you have spoken to, I don't care where you are working this weekend.

And at WAFL games when people walk out to listen to the coaches then stand there and talk to their friends so no one else can listen to the coach.

End of part 1.

Yep and I can't believe how many do it , including ressie players at league games , almost like they are told to go out and listen but are not really interested.

The radio thing.... JUST SHUT UP AND PLAY THE MUSIC fercryinoutloud. geeeeeeeeeeeezzzzhusss that shits me. Sico, RTRfm between 3-5. 92.1 on your dial... everybody, RTRfm... ok???!!!

The people who walk out and talk are closely related to those who meet up somewhere to watch a game and talk all the way through it. I believe they also go to the movies a lot.

Murderers, rapists, drug dealers and violent criminals not receiving the right amount of punishment after being found guilty of their crimes. Harden up Australia.

violence against women ad's and campaigns .. the ad is annoying, and let's face it .. there is violence against men as well. It's not a one-sided story.

Hoons! I am completely shit up the wall with 'em. I live just down the road from a little shopping centre. Hoons get in there after all the shops shut and start their shit. It seems like there a competition to see who can get from the shops to the roundabout 200 meters up the road the fastest & making the most noise. I thought it rather poetic when one of them lost it & plowed into a tree though. He was alright but his car was fucked! Best part about that was giving a statement to the cops and confirming their suspicions that it wasn't an "accident".

There's no diversity or freedom in our media now. I fail to see how a change in the media laws is going to make it worse.

TV stations that advertise shows that are advertised at a "special time" when all it is, is another program is running late or goes past its normal timeslot.

There is nothing special about that.....
