I'm with Dazz in that we need to do something about the proliferation of gambling advertising, particularly during sport. I was most offended by an ad I saw during the footy last weekend which implied that a true fan would lay a bet on their team. What idiocy.

How about the television ad where the woman says something about gambling with friends, as though that's the way to gamble responsibly. Tragically some people simply can't stop themselves from frittering away their money, always think that next time will be THE one.

The proliferation of advertising during time when children watch (or is that just Foxtel?) and the variety of what one can bet on beggars belief. Oh for the simplicity of the 60s when the ABC bored a kid to death on a Saturday afternoon with that roll of paper turning over the race results

from every paddock in the country. You had to find something better to do but at least you weren't bombarded with advertising about betting.

Just took the 17-1 on the Frenchman for Norm Smith, into West Coast H2H $2.30.

Won the Brownlow top 5 pool at work, so it's $130 profit, wisely reinvested.

Get on!

No, thats the market for most goals for the entire finals series. Thus why Betts is in there as no one is yet to have kicked more then 9 goals which is what Betts got in the 2 finals he played in.
