I love how Duggan attacks the ball/player, but i do concede his disposal & decision making was well down. I'm putting it down to his first final (cant remember if he played last year).

I'd only be bringing in players if there is an injury.

It just goes to show that, as important as inside 50 stats are, they're not everything. Forward line efficiency can dilute I50 stats as well as an excellent defensive group that rebound. Obviously midfield pressure is critical.

Jetta running from the defensive side of the centre square is something that will be giving GWS plenty to think about (if not nightmares). His speed and long kicking to hot spots was outstanding. Those who were quiet on the weekend get another chance this week.

We have everything to win and nothing to lose in this game. Before the weekend I felt that PA was the team that had the most to lose last week. They just missed a top four spot and were playing a team that just snuck (if that's a word) into the finals. This week the team with the most to lose is GWS. Pre season premiership favourites are staring down the barrel of a straight sets exit. If that isn't bad enough, they could go out to a team that just snuck into the finals and just snuck into this game.

We have a red hot crack and give ourselves a chance

And if we pull off a win against GWS. Richmond have the most to lose also. Been in the wilderness for a good 30 years, the lids' off for their fans. IF they crumble to that...then we play Sydney ( I think they will roll Geelong and shellshock the crows on the way to a GF appearance). Sydney have way more to lose in a grand final than the eagles do. They have lost (choked) in their last 2 grand final appearances. Everyone would be backing the swans too.

The chances are exceptionally slim thought.

No way does Duggan gets dropped. The experience that he and Partington are gaining is crucial to the club's medium term development. Wellingham is the first to come in (assuming NN doesnt play) and Masten only gets to fly if a water boy needs replacing.

Agree, assuming this finals campaign ends in the next week or so, the finals experience gotten into Partington/Duggan/Sheed/Barrass are really the most important measurable outcome.

I can only see Wellingham come in for Lecras.

Put wellingham as a defensive forward against shaw. Just tag him out of the game.

I liked the crow's tactic of kicking the ball to GWS spare man, which allowed tex & co to run and jump at the ball...essentially negating the loose man.

That was actually my favorite bit of the crows game. Watching Eddie carve up the smartass loudmouth. We cannot let Shaw dictate what goes on in our forward line.

This has now become the absolute perfect opportunity to bring in NN- if we name him GWS will have to name Simpson just as insurance and if both play Naitanui will be matching up on an immobile big man also lacking in match practice.

Just do it, take the risk, roll the dice and have a crack at the one move which might conceivably make us able to take on the likes of Richmond/Sydney/Adelaide over the next two weeks.

Simpson wouldn't say anything when asked. Just brushed the question off with a laugh.
