Still trying to get my head around how we played like such crap for so long and yet still managed to drag ourselves up off the canvas and steal that. That was nuts.

Yep was he thrown into the centre? Or did he motor in from outside at the bounces? At the end. Love a power cut!

Was coming off the back of the square.

Also hats off to MacKenzie who had the smarts to make sure the ball went out instead of through the points.

LeCras.

Yes its harsh as he's been a great servant to the club, but he's been MIA for a while now. Enough is enough.

What a way to win!

Our good is really good but when you look at it we only won about 1.5 Quarters in that game plus one of the 5 min extra time.
But in the time we dominated we kicked goals. Our scoreboard pressure until the 10 min mark of the second quarter was great.

Onto next week to a team coming off two bad losses. Hopefully GWS's ground is a lot like Subi as well.
We can not keep on carrying LeCras he just not up to it anymore, cant go through the middle and his boot has become unreliable.

Lecras out - Wellingham / Nicnat In

Is the big NicNat ready to go this week? Mumford is carrying an ankle and I would back Vardy to beat time this week.
But with no match fitness what can we honestly expect from Natanui?

Quietly confident coming up against a team thats lost badly the last two weeks.

Thats what worrys me for next year

Pridda Mitchell Petrie all had outstanding games but will not be there next year

Sheed and Duggan where quiets at times ...they have to improve next year

As you said we need the young players to step up
The will to win...we have lost it.......maybe its coming back ??

Nic Nat doesn't have to play as a ruck .
Just his presence in the forward line might be enough , provided he does not get in the way of Kennedy or Darling .
All he has to do is lead in the opposite direction to the other key forwards and he will hopefully be drawing at least one key defender away from the others . If no one goes to him then he is an option to goal provided the rest of the team lower their eyes and look for altenatives .
After all isn't this exactly what LeCras was supposed to have been doing , without any recent success .

I also hope that Simpson took good note of Pyke sending a player onto Heath Shaw to shut him out of the game .
He is GWS's general in the back line with his interceptions and directing rebounds into attack from their back line .
Without his influence , they appear rudderless .

Simpson mentioned that he may make changes for some fresh legs. Can't see who for who.

Think we will go in unchanged.

That was an awesome game of footy, and after the other 3 flops finally a game of Finals Footy.

Shuey's goal has had the Everything Is Better With Titanic treatment.

Full credit goes to Emac for this play. The ability to not only NOT concede a point and not guide the ball over the boundary (because that could have been called deliberate) but to get the ball to the behind post and also risk injury to himself by doing so.

Great win. I was there in 2007 and it was our turn to win in extra time. Lost my shit when Priddis turned it over in the first minute or so but hats off to him for his game. Also loved Petrie, Vardy, Darling (early) and Jetta (late).
Had a stinking Dockers supporter in my ear early telling me how the club had mucked up the Sinclair/Jetta trade. Didn't he get it when Lewis stood up in extra time.
For those that are saying play NN as a forward? That's BS. If fit he plays and plays in the ruck. If he can't handle that he doesn't play.
