Not the one you thought would have been the one to out last them all given his injury problems.

An example of how no matter how tough it is, never give up.

Glad he got life membership, deserved it.

Super brave. Just kept coming back from setback after setback.

Glad he got life membership and a premiership medallion.

You have to love Sam and how he has gone about it. How different the world may have been if injuries hadn't hit him (166 games) and Waters (120 games). If they had been able to get 200, 250 or even 300 games out of themselves history would have been quite different.
Well done Sammy. :)

His "lots of sex" slip up in his presser was hilarious.

One of my favourite players over the last ten years or so. Like many I'm glad he made life membership.

Good luck for the future, Premiership hero Sam Butler.

A remarkable effort in longevity too when you consider al the injury challenges.

Always enjoyed your calmness under pressure.

Well done Sam, enjoy retirement.

Almost fitting that he is injured and unable to play a farewell game, reflects the rest of his long and successful career - got the best from himself despite being injury plagued.
