Did they have an idea when they named the extended list? Could explain why McInnes was there but not why he was still cut when Vardy went down. Would have been the logical replacement.

Could also be a weather call. With showers forecast and a possible wet track, going one tall less (at last) might have been semi-forced.

Good point. I think we may be going in too tall. Tall backline so I assume McGovern will ruck.

Im not keen on mcgovern rucking. He can do it but he is too vital down back.

His shoulders are held together by plasticine so throwing im into the ruck may risk injury.

Already? That seems to have come around quickly. Great player, I hope he plays a great game and his team mates honour the occasion.

Absolutely. Rarely has a bad game and is a key player. Congratulations

Great to see partington grab a couple of early touches.

Awesome hear the crowd cheer as he got his first touch.

This game looks like it will be a grind.

Already smells the same as previous weeks. No physicality, no urgency. Doesn't matter whomwe have (or not), if we dont play with emotion we wont play our best. And coaching staff need to take responsibility for that!

Ps - can anyone tell me what Jack Redden personality is? He play with zero urgency (or like he is frozen by headlights). I may be unkind but he just seems like he is too cool for school...

Great quarter from Darling, rest of the team looks tentative and disinterested against the hungry young lions.

A couple of real 'time to retire' moments from Lecras that quarter.

Poor start - their numbers inside 50 and our poor defensive running is particularly frustrating

Wonder if that run down the wing will help Lecras decide its time to retire

Ive been pro redden on here, however i concede some of his efforts so far look half arsed.

He has a good opportunity to show what he can do without priddis and isnt taking it.

Did what we had to do.

Much needed % boost. Back in the 8 (for now).

Lack lustre game but then most of the year has been that way. Seems a few Eagles fans voted with their feet this week... quite a few empty seats.

Impressive to keep intensity up in 4th once sting was out. Understand it was against cellar dwellers but it shows good application. Tough finish to come but hope Springs eternal! (Hoping Jetta is fit and we make a straight swap for redden as we probably have enough inside mids dont we?)
