I remember being stunned that we didn't take Blakely. All the talk was not whether we would take him but would he still be available. If there, we take, if gone, we look elsewhere. When he was still there I was 99% certain of hearing his name.

2017 sponsor of #30 - Jackson (he's too good to be only 21) Nelson. 21yo, pick #51 in 2014, a bonus pickup.

Its good that he stayed with the crows.

HAHA no forward half decent wants to go to freo.

Wow he must be on reduced coin...I wonder how much the crows have left in the cap ???

Seeing that Freo was offering a huge sum

Good news for us....yes I would of love to see him at the eagles....but it keeps Jeremy around longer :D

Would of been a disaster to see both Govs at the Shockers
The will to win...we have lost it.......maybe its coming back ??

Also blows Hagdorns McGovern brothers uniting at Freo theory away.

Nobody, but nobody should take anything Hagdorn says seriously. I can't believe he gets paid for the rubbish he comes out with.

Also could get a gf there that's worth a bit more than Freo could offer.

I'm hoping we don't get too involved in trades this year. Think we need to stick to the draft.

Agreed. No to Ballantyne, No to Lyn Thomas, NO to any late 20's early 30's cast-offs.

I see GC has just cut Cameron Loersch from their rookie list. He's a 21 year old 203cm ruckman from South Fremantle. Worth rookie listing?

I haven't watched a lot of other teams play this year (well, barely watched any footy at all) but from years gone by he seems like he is a role guy. Not someone you would actively shop for and pay big money to. Maybe things have changed for him this year though?

He played 18 games this year and improved a little, talking to Hawk supporter mates, apparently a good runner but poor disposal, decision making is poor under pressure also, you get that when you are only 22.
